Nightmare

One night, after turning in for about 30 minutes or so, suddenly I heard slamming noises coming from one of the cages. After the second slam, I quickly got up and checked it out. The noises are coming from Lyla’s cage. Lyla seems to be flying around his cage and slamming on the floor of the cage. I quickly turned on the lights and uncover the cage. I saw Lyla clinging on the side of the cage with a dazed look. I quickly checked the interior of the cage for any trespassing insect that may be the cause of the anxiety but it was clear.

My conclusion was that Lyla had a bad dream. I picked him, gently held him in my palm and gave him a tickle around his neck trying to recover him from shock. After feeling that he had clamed down, I put him back into the cage and let it go back to sleep. Bird can have nightmares too.
