Some are not reflected as they went into my stomach to give me the strength I need to take the photos below. (‘---`)A paperclip with a card (from a colleague) This girl really has a special affection towards cows. Wonder why.  A pencil (from a colleague) Do not really know why I picked the princess, maybe you can tell me the reason. >=D  Biscuits (from my supervisor) It is said that he always gives M&S’s stuff for Christmas. But I do not mind, it’s the thought that counts right?  A jar of honey (from a team colleague) The idea of giving someone a jar of honey is so fresh to me. I really liked it.  A memo clip (from a team colleague) I almost bought these for my colleagues too. Lol.  A stick of Toblerone (from a colleague) From an admin girl whom I did not returned a gift to her. So paiseh about it.  A pack of candies (from a colleague)  A towel (from friend’s gift exchange) I did say that I would not want to receive a towel from a gift exchange, but I really do not mind.  A nodder and an apple shaped hp stand (from family’s gift exchange) This gift was from my cousin pixie. She felt so happy and thought it was such a priceless moment when I showed a ‘pissed’ face after unwrapping the gift. But the problem is, how can I be pissed when I had thought of getting one for myself while I was Christmas shopping? Lol. As to the reason why I frown shall not be revealed. Let my cousin enjoy that moment lar. Haha...  It has been a bountiful Christmas for me with the time I spent with my family and friends. Wish everyone a happy new year ahead. Sunday, December 23, 2007Big ear lopeYesterday I had home testing. Sat in front of my computer and waited for the testing to commence. In the middle of the testing, I hear some unusual footsteps outside the corridor. Can’t be bothered, I continued testing. After the testing, I had a bad headache for some unknown reason.Later that evening, my dad came home and told me that our neighbors got their door splashed by paint. I went out and have a look and I realized where my headache came from. It was the vapor from the paint that caused my headache. Later that night when I went down for dinner, I saw the note left by the big ear lope by the staircase. Early next morning, I got bored and took my camera out to take some pictures of those handy works done by the big ear lope. Guess they do not use pig head any more. The message. (edited)  The paint.

Christmas Shopping*edited*Everywhere you go now, it’s all filled with the festive mood. Everyone is buying and giving presents to their loved ones. I started my Christmas shopping quite late (as usual) this year. I went to town hoping to find something special to give my friends and family. The first stop I went to was Takashimaya. The trip there was to get this particular book by Audrey Niffenegger, The Time Traveller’s Wife. This is for a colleague as I am his angel and supposed to fulfill his wish in the game, Mortals and Angel, played in my company. After the visit at Kinokuniya and Borders, I scout around Taka for presents. Saw a lot of young couples looking for presents over there. How I wish I was young and had a darling too.  Second location to shop, Bugis Junction. The reason for choosing Bugis is because I have some Capitalland vouchers from the Mortals and Angel! Can cut down some budget using vouchers you know. Lol. I went there around 3 plus. It was packed! Super packed. You need to queue to enter Action City. It is so unproductive shopping in such a crowded place. This is because there are a lot of pretty babes for my eyes to feast on, making them too busy to look for presents.  Next is the everyday Tiong Bahru Plaza. I went into the gift shops so many times that I think the salesgirls in would have remembered me. I just could not make up my mind what to get for my gift exchange session with my SIM friends. I was choosing between a super big cup (at least 1 litre sia!) and a 3D jig saw puzzle. Finally I chose a musical sound coin bank which was picked by Jasmine during the exchange. I am glad she liked the present. Serangoon North Ave 1. “Why am I here?”, you may asked. To get Christmas presents lar. For my Laura and Lyla! Lol. I got them some pellets which are supposed to be bird biscuits and half year supply of seeds! I also bought Lyla his personal cuttlebone. Young birds need calcium too. The pellets are so colorful if you can see them from the picture. Wonder if they will eat them a not.  The Christmas present hunting was concluded at Plaza Singapura. Got the gift for my family’s gift exchange and collogues. I got for each of my colleagues a cloth mail bags. All of them all are in different shapes, sizes and colors. I suppose I will let them have a lucky draw on Christmas Eve.

Sunday, December 16, 2007UpdatesOops. Didn’t blog an entry for the past 2 weeks.A quick recap of any major happenings for the past 2 weeks 1. Very hectic at work. First time I had a taste of working continuously for 10+ hrs non-stop. Ok lar, got a lunch break in between. But for the rest of the time, I just keep hacking the keyboard and clicking the mouse. It always felt so draining at the end of the day. 2. Lyla knocked the door open and flew out while I am out at work. Luckily this little boy still does not know how to fly properly and he was unable to get out of the house. Instead, flew into a plastic bag and hid there sleeping till I got home. 3. Saw my third aunt today. Her tummy is growing. And this means I will be having another little cousin soon. I am in my twenties now. But to keep having cousins coming out after another really makes me feel old. Holidays coming soon and so many things to do. Meeting up with friends, buying Christmas presents, thinking what to prepare for Christmas, etc. Zoom Zoom... off to bed. >=D PS: will Saphy be ard till christmas? or fly liao. Lol. Nin... @
Sunday, December 2, 2007December!December! The last month in the year and everyone is in the holiday mood. Little updates on my family.1. I have completed 1 month of work! 2. My sister is no longer NEET! 3. My parents are taking er hu examinations tomorrow! Hmmm... Not updating as frequent because nothing interesting is happening in my life these few days. I am thinking of taking up some social activities such as joining some club or activities to stop my boring life from stretching any further. But have no idea what is good. Anyone like to give me some suggestions? ^^ PS: Facebook me! Nin... @
NightmareOne night, after turning in for about 30 minutes or so, suddenly I heard slamming noises coming from one of the cages. After the second slam, I quickly got up and checked it out. The noises are coming from Lyla’s cage. Lyla seems to be flying around his cage and slamming on the floor of the cage. I quickly turned on the lights and uncover the cage. I saw Lyla clinging on the side of the cage with a dazed look. I quickly checked the interior of the cage for any trespassing insect that may be the cause of the anxiety but it was clear.My conclusion was that Lyla had a bad dream. I picked him, gently held him in my palm and gave him a tickle around his neck trying to recover him from shock. After feeling that he had clamed down, I put him back into the cage and let it go back to sleep. Bird can have nightmares too. Nin... @
